Has anyone else experienced severe moods swings when increasing to a high fat diet? I can only describe myself as "crazed" and have never experienced anything like it with bouts of extreme anxiety and relentless hungr (I chuckle when people say they're never hunger with high fat diet- quite the opposite for me.) I return to "normal' when I revert back to my high protein/low fat/lower carb diet.
I think I've found my Paleo balance and have been having good control over my problems w/sham eating (chewing and spitting food) – just curious if anyone can provide an explanation. Thanks!

I was *not ever full* eating high fat. I just *wasn't*. And I was a bit moody, not too bad, but eh, could have been more stable.
I'm a 23andme geek-ette, so I have some fun data to play with! I do NOT have the SNP for 'less weight gain on a high-fat diet' ( http://www.snpedia.com/index.p…..p/Rs662799 ) . I wonder if they will someday find that people that do not have the 2 polymorphisms tend to not become satiated by fat.
